The Global Recycled Standard, or GRS, combines recycled-material verification and chain of custody with additional requirements concerning processing, chemicals, social conditions and environmental practices. It is intended to support defined claims within a certified supply chain, rather than a broad promise that every aspect of a product is sustainable.
