“KFCC approval” appears in some commercial catalogues as a legacy or informal label. The current official route is conformity assessment administered by Korea’s National Radio Research Agency, or RRA, under the Radio Waves Act. KFCC should not be presented as the name of a separate current certification authority.
RRA distinguishes certification of conformity, registration of compatibility and interim conformity according to equipment and applicable criteria. This guide addresses that regulatory pathway. The correct route is established from the product’s radio, broadcasting or communications functions and its electromagnetic compatibility characteristics, rather than selected from the marketing name alone.
